Vacation Bible School

The first week after school gets out in June we have Vacation Bible School. A lot of planning and work goes into this week. Children from age three years old through sixth grade attend. Many adults, Jr. High and High School Students get involved as teachers and helpers. The Sunday morning after the completion of Bible School a program is held for family and friends so they may hear the songs and see what the children have learned and made during the week. It is a great outreach to our community as some children attend from different backgrounds. We have a potluck dinner after the program on the church grounds. This is also our annual all-church picnic with games for everyone. We end the picnic with ice cream and then have our evening service at approximately 3:00 p.m.
