The High School Youth Group meets Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. during the school year.
The young people grow in their faith through Bible study, videos, and games. The RCYF has various activities throughout the year including: attending Christian concerts, purchasing gifts for the Samaritan’s Purse Project, assisting with local service projects and other recreational activities. There are also a few yearly fundraising activities such as: submarine sandwich sales and a church bake-off. The money raised is used to pay for activities throughout the year, adopting a World Vision child and paying for the cost of Rocky Mountain High (a young people’s retreat held every third year).
The RCYF is also kept involved in the church services by participating in the White Gift Program at Christmas time, presenting a youth Sunday service once a year, and providing special music with the Adult Choir.

RCYF Meeting
Which of these statements is true: High school age is a wonderful time of life – plenty of questions to ask, kids possessing a ‘can-do’ spirit that is tireless, and countless opportunities to explore. Or: High School age is a horrible time of life – self doubt, peer pressure, not knowing what or whom to believe all contribute to developing a ‘survivor’ mentality rather than a ‘thriving’ confidence. The truth is, high school is and can be both. RCYF helps young people explore life – from a biblical perspective – while using the ‘fellowship, fun, food’ model for it’s meetings. Whether it’s learning about integrity in your daily life or integrity in the context of approaching God in worship, the leadership of the Hope Reformed Church RCYF is committed to fostering godly growth. Come join us on Wednesday nights.
